Who we are

This website is run by RHS Performance Ltd, Unit 15 Fenpark Industrial Estate, Fenton, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire ST4 3JP, registered in England and Wales under company number 14131314. What we collect and why

Enquiries: when you send an enquiry about a car or use our contact form we collect your name, telephone number, email address, your message and, where relevant, the stock ID of the car. We use them to answer you and to arrange viewings, test drives and finance introductions.

Selling your car: the sell your car form collects your contact details, your vehicle details (including its registration, mileage, service history, condition and outstanding finance) and any photos you upload, so that we can value your car.

Stock updates: if you sign up for stock updates we keep your email address to send you news of cars coming in. Email us at any time to stop them.

Lead source: to understand which adverts and pages bring us enquiries, each enquiry, call or WhatsApp tap made from this website is recorded with the page you arrived on and the campaign or site that sent you (for example a Meta or Google advert). This is kept in your browser for the visit only (session storage, not a cookie) and is not used to identify you.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running our business, and your consent where you tick the consent box on a form.

Who processes your data for us

Form messages are sent to our inbox by Resend (email delivery). Enquiries and stock data are stored in a Supabase database hosted in the United Kingdom region (London). The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also protects our forms from spam with Cloudflare Turnstile and a hidden honeypot field.

The finance calculator on the finance page is provided by Codeweavers and only loads when you choose to open it; any details you enter there go to Codeweavers and the lenders it works with. The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps and only loads when you choose to show it.

The TikTok and Instagram feeds on the home page are shown by Fouita, which loads our latest posts from TikTok and Instagram. When you open a TikTok video it plays in TikTok's own player, and TikTok may set its own cookies and ask for your consent; see TikTok's and Instagram's privacy policies for how they use your data.

Page views are counted by RankShark with a cookie-free counter that records only the page address, the referring page or site and any campaign tag in the link; it sets no cookies, and the IP address is used only momentarily to block abuse and is never stored. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used: it sets cookies and sends Google information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your device and your approximate location. Google's privacy policy explains how it uses this data. If we add the Meta Pixel or a Google Ads tag, this policy will be updated to say so before they go live.

Finance

We act as a credit broker, not a lender. If you apply for finance your details are passed to the lenders we work with so they can assess your application; each lender will explain how it uses your data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and sell your car submissions for up to 24 months, unless you buy from us, when sales records are kept for as long as the law requires. Stock update sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. The finance calculator and map are third-party services that only load if you open them, and they may set their own cookies when they do.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to stop contacting you. Email rhsperformanceltd@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
