Used Alfa Romeo Stelvio for Sale in Stoke-on-Trent

About the Alfa Romeo Stelvio

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio is a mid-size premium SUV that went on sale in 2017, sitting above the Giulia saloon in Alfa's range. It is a five-seat, five-door crossover with Alfa's characteristic styling and a focus on steering feel and handling, which sets it apart from many rivals in its class. Most examples are fitted with all-wheel drive (marketed as Q4), so buyers looking for a sharp, grippy SUV for British roads will find plenty of appeal.

The engine line-up covers a few options. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol is the most common choice for everyday use and offers a good balance of performance and running costs. The 2.2-litre turbo diesel suits high-mileage drivers who want strong pulling power and better fuel economy on longer journeys. At the top of the range sits the Quadrifoglio, powered by a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 producing 510hp, which delivers strong acceleration but comes with higher running costs, larger tyres and bigger brakes to maintain.

Owners tend to praise the Stelvio's driving dynamics, its distinctive looks and the feeling of quality inside. When viewing a used example, check the full service history and confirm that any recommended maintenance has been carried out on time. Test the infotainment and electrical systems thoroughly, since complex features occasionally cause problems. On diesels, ask about the type of driving the car has done, as frequent short trips can affect the particulate filter. On Quadrifoglio models, check tyre and brake wear closely. Look over the bodywork and interior for signs of accident damage, and take the car on a longer test drive to check for any noises or warning lights.
